The perfume
sector: in France, between 20% and 25% of sales are made over the last two
weeks of December.
Christmas
is also the most important period for sales of boxes of perfume, which
accounted for 23% of sales in December 2009 in France and 32 % in the United
Kingdom.
This year, new
products are already released, and highlighted in stores as Sephora or
Marrionaud.
Among the
new boxes of 2014 we can see “Lady million” by paco Rabanne of “La vie est
belle” by Lancôme
Brands are
also investing heavily in the fore in shop windows for Christmas.
Especially
in Paris in the windows of Galeries Lafayettes that are annually seen by
millions of Fench people but also by tourists from all over the world.
Successful
communication for Christmas means a successful year for the brand because
December sales can represent up to a quarter of annual sales.
